I just wanted to list a few websites for you that I have found helpful in gathering and sparking ideas as I continue to make my home.
Reluctant Gourmet Cooking Guide for Cooking at Home
This site is very straightforward and simple in its explanations of techniques and recipes. You can find just about anything here – from tools and ingredients explained to the best culinary schools around – and its all broken down in an easy to understand way. There is also a great blog on this site as well, so you might want to check that out as well.
She’s been labeled the “domestic goddess”, so I had to put her on the list of links. I get a lot of cute ideas from Martha, but sometimes she’s just a little too perfect for me. Still, this site is a tremendous resource for ideas and instructions! (And I do watch her show almost every afternoon!)
Here you’ll find all the tools you need to plan your weekly meals. Calendars, recipe searches, shopping lists…. Its all here!
Actually, I am an Independent Pampered Chef Consultant. So, of course, I love all their products and recipe ideas. Let me know if you have any questions about The Pampered Chef… I’d love to help you in any way I can!

“I came across your blog when I was researching on homemaking topics. I enjoyed reading the posts. I would also like to share with you the fact that I came across a very interesting site called http://www.homemakersalmanac.com or http://www.grihast.com. It seems to be a very ambitious compendium of all homemaking topics and deals with a variety of subjects that would be of immense interest to the homemaker. Do visit the site and read the articles. They are very informative. Registration is FREE. So do not hesitate to register. You will definitely enjoy yourself.”
